Associate Communication Coach
TalkCoach is expanding!
We’re looking for at least one qualified coach to join us on a freelance basis.
If you have a strong interest in communication and a passion for helping people show up more confidently and authentically in their conversations and relationships, we’d love to hear from you!
About TalkCoach
We are a small, values-led practice offering Communication Coaching and Speech and Language Therapy for adults.
Founded by Kezia in 2021, our mission is to help people communicate with more confidence, clarity and connection, so they’re no longer held back by self-doubt, anxiety or communication differences.
We focus on values, authenticity and insight-driven change. Our approach helps people communicate with confidence and self-trust, creating lasting change from within, rather than relying on surface-level techniques or ‘quick-fixes’.
Having grown our Speech and Language Therapy team, we’re now expanding our coaching team to meet increasing demand - and we’re excited to find Associate Coaches who share our ethos.
Communication Coaching at TalkCoach
People typically come to us looking for support in at least one of these areas:
Social anxiety, overthinking and/or reduced confidence in conversations
Improving relationships and building meaningful connection with others
Communication challenges or differences related to neurodivergence
Coaching sessions are shaped around each client’s goals, with a focus on building lasting insight, self-trust and real-world change.
We’re looking for Associate Coaches with experience and/or willingness to work in at least one of these areas. We’re also open to coaches who offer something complementary, such as support with public speaking.
What you can expect as a TalkCoach Associate Coach
This is a freelance role that’s designed to be flexible - something that fits around your existing coaching work or other commitments.
It’s not a full-time role or your sole source of income, but there’s scope for it to grow over time.
Clients will be matched to you, and you’ll have space to coach in a way that aligns with your own approach, whilst drawing on TalkCoach’s frameworks and resources where helpful.
Here’s how it works
We handle all the marketing, enquiries, contracts, onboarding and invoicing, so you can focus on what you do best - coaching.
You’ll receive a starting rate of £50 per completed 60-minute coaching session, which includes documentation of the session.
Clients typically book in blocks of 6 or 8 sessions. You have flexibility to arrange sessions at times that work for you, but we do ask that you honour the commitment once sessions are agreed, and keep us updated with your general availability.
Some clients may benefit from a brief introductory call before committing to a block. These calls (free to the client) are reimbursed to you at £10, and require a short written summary afterwards.
We’ll provide you with access to our secure note-keeping and online booking system (‘splose’), a TalkCoach email account, Google Meet for video calls, and access to a shared Google Drive full of useful resources and templates.
You’ll submit monthly invoices for any sessions delivered.
This is a self-employed associate role, so you’ll be responsible for your own tax and legal obligations, and we expect you to have other coaching clients or income streams alongside this work.
