Effective speech, language and communication skills enable children to realise their learning potential. Being a good communicator underpins the development of a child’s learning and thinking skills, and their social and emotional well being. Any child who struggles with speech and language in the classroom is at a major disadvantage as literacy builds on a foundation of oral language skills.
Every school has different needs and priorities so we work with schools to identify what approach will work for them. This can be a combination of consultancy, training, coaching and mentoring, or direct workiing with an individual or groups of students. We start by listening to you and then work with you to help you recognise and build on the good practice that already exists within your school.
